Roadmap of Spagic, the universal middleware for the development of extensible SOA/BPM solutions and the governance of services

The purpose of Spagic project is to govern the evolutionary lines of the solution defined upon the requests coming from the users' community, the clients, the developers, the integrators. We think that in this way the integration is real, as it comes from "real" needs. Spagic team puts all its efforts in inserting these demands in a coherent vision adding equally innovative applications coming from its own experience and, sometimes, from the academic and research fields.

The roadmap is updated by the Project Leader at the beginning of every year and it's verified every six months. The same one can endure variations in order to assimilate important suggestions or demands coming from the community.

2013 Roadmap of Spagic project

Spagic platform is currently used by various entities at the international level, both in SOA and BPM integration projects and as a development platform for SOA applications according to the OSGi standards.

Consequently, the project roadmap focuses on the consolidation of Spagic integration and process features as well as on the development of some new functionalities supporting the realization of new SOA applications, through:

    • the development of new connectors
    • the extension of the present functionalities supporting the web form lifecycle management
    • the integration of new functionalities supporting human task services on mobile devices
    • the availability of new documentation and sample tutorials, supporting users in the use of the platform for the development of new applications.

Moreover, the roadmap includes a first development phase of the next version of Spagic platform, offering new modelling standards and the extension of the governance services to the collaborative support for process analysis.
